SweepSpot

SweepSpot support

A little help.
A clear next step.

Start with the guide below. For a campaign’s eligibility, prize or official rules, contact the merchant running that promotion.

Getting started

  1. Open SweepSpot in Shopify Admin.

Use Apps → SweepSpot. The app uses Shopify authentication; a separate SweepSpot account is not required.

  2. Create and configure a campaign.

Set the campaign dates and entry rules. Supply official rules, eligibility requirements and any required alternative entry route before a real promotion begins.

  3. Sync products and place the blocks.

Use the app’s Extensions guide. Add storefront blocks with the theme editor and thank-you/Profile/Orders blocks with Shopify’s checkout and accounts editor. Save each placement. Availability depends on your Shopify plan.

  4. Verify with a development demo.

On a supported Shopify development store, use Development checkout demo. It is clearly labeled, uses no real prize and keeps test purchases outside real promotions.

Common questions

Why are entries missing after an order?

Confirm payment, campaign dates and eligible products/rules. Test orders only enter the isolated development demo. Check reconciliation in SweepSpot and include the order number in your support request. Do not send the full order payload.

Why is a customer-facing block missing?

Check that the SweepSpot block was added and saved on the correct theme or checkout/account page. Reinstallation can remove widget placements; add and save them again. Preview figures are sample data.

How do billing changes and cancellation work?

Open Plan and usage inside SweepSpot. Shopify shows the subscription terms and asks you to approve plan changes. Switch to Free to stop paid entitlements; uninstalling revokes the app’s access. Check Shopify’s displayed billing terms for the effective date of any change.

How do I request access, correction or deletion?

Participants should contact the merchant running their promotion. You can also contact SweepSpot about the app’s processing. Identify the merchant and request type; do not send identity documents initially. We verify authority and identity before releasing or changing personal information. Merchants can review Shopify privacy requests in SweepSpot’s privacy workspace.

Who handles prize or eligibility questions?

The merchant running the promotion. SweepSpot does not sponsor the promotion, supply the prize or replace the merchant’s official rules.

How do I report a security issue?

Email support with “Security report” in the subject and a brief description. Avoid customer information or credentials. We’ll arrange a secure follow-up when needed. Do not test against another merchant’s records.
